This postcard to Prairie Kitten was the fourth piece of mail art I ever sent out. A pretty simple piece. I think I've grow as an artist since then.

(Originally posted on my blog at IUOMA, March 24, 2018) More EYE-CANDY from Ed Giecek - starting with the envelope, and continuing inside! Ed wrote a kind note, letting me know that I "won first prize for most fantastic envy-lope of the day award!" In grand Giecek-style, there are many Ed-made goodies inside. Love the VW camper! Also includes a Mike Dickau "Add & Pass." Thanks so much, Ed!

A welcome post card from Douglas Galloway (IUOMA). Postmarked 'Portland, OR,' but his IUOMA profile shows a mailing address in Battle Ground, WA. (The following was originally posted on my blog at IUOMA, March 4, 2018)
Bus, Bob Dylan, and a Bunch of Goodies! Yep...so surprised to see this mail art from Ed Giecek! Thanks, Ed! Love it! (The following was originally posted on my blog at IUOMA, March 4, 2018) Hip, Hip, Hooray! What a great start to March 2018. On the 1st I received this whimsical zentangle / doodling card from Prairie Kittin! Thanks so much, PK! The VERY FIRST mail art piece I received. On the front is a "shell" US postcard stamp that fits nicely with the theme. Love it! In actuality this card was probably delivered to our mailbox the day before (February 28), but my husband must have accidentally dropped it into a snow pile. On the morning of the 1st of March he was walking our two Yorkshire Terriers, and as he approached our property he noticed the card in the snow. I was having coffee by the fire when he handed me the postcard. It was very wet! I used a piece of paper towel to blot the water from the card. I'll have to find out from Prairie Kittin about the type of ink pen she uses - it was great to see that her lovely art did not smear or run!
