A couple of add & passes arrived in late January. They came from the fabulous Mim Golub Scalin.  A&P initiated by Guido Bondioli (Meza, AZ) with adds by Mim Golub Scalin (Richmond, VA). Thanks a bunch, Mim! March 2019 Mail Art from Jorge Martin...  "DADA" collage from Jorge Martin (Winchester VA). This is my first piece of m-a from Jorge Martin, a fellow IUOMA member. Jorge's "DADA" collage is composed of elements like: paint, red duct tape, doodling (or perhaps asemic writing), and various scraps of ephemera (postage stamps, book & magazine clippings). A view of the backside tells us that Jorge used recycled paper for the substrate - a utility 'safety notice.'  Details - DADA...Wait ... "Decorating?" If you're familiar with my art, you will know that I do a great deal of collage work. Jorge's DADA piece is quite similar to my style, imho.  Details - "Loosen tight clothing."  Details - "Mail Observation." Is that asemic writing in the upper left corner?  Jorge Martin, proud member of IUOMA. Very nice mail from Virginia. Looking forward to more in the future.
Thanks a bunch, Jorge! Mim Golub Scalin sent this slithery post card in October 2018. The card was made for Day 9 of "Creative Sprint, a project requiring Mim to combine two things that don't go together or are opposites." Her card features a snake and a white rodent.  Many thanks to Mim!
