Eléna Amette is an IUOMA-Ning friend. Got some mail from her this week. Eléna made a lovely tag card with the sentiment, "Petits Bonheurs Tout Simplement," which means 'little pleasures.' For the Lyons' Den she sent a couple of lion mandalas (shown twice in the pic above).
Many thanks to Eléna!

October and November brought two postcards from France. Pascal Coupechoux (Chablis, France) usually adorns his cards with original drawings. Ephemera scraps are used as collage elements.
Mail from November 2018: Hats off to Richard Baudet (Marseille, France) for this lovely piece.
Center stage is the envelope art, where Richard features the 26 letters of the English alphabet - both ascending and descending. Richard decided to do this theme because he noticed that I had joined the alphabet group on IUOMA-ning. Thank you from ETATS UNIS! (The following was originally posted on my blog at IUOMA, July 10, 2018) ALL THE WAY FROM FRANCE...
Richard Baudet's Mail Art arrived on May 1. Very nice envelope art, and a couple of small printed note cards. Looks like "Mail Art is good for our health!" Thanks, Richard! A vintage retail catalog was the source for most images in this collage postcard. A postage stamp, rubber stamp image, and some doodling finished the piece.
(The following was originally posted on my blog at IUOMA, March 4, 2018) Wow...I was pleasantly surprised to receive mail from Pascal so quickly! I didn't realize that mail moves quickly from overseas! This postcard is popping with all kinds of color - Pascal's watercolor / abstract art is awesome, and the postage stamps are so fun! So much for my eyes to look at! Thanks so much, Pascal! I appreciate your friendship!
