Mail from Linda Rogers, August 2018: Linda and I are in the CIRCLES group on IUOMA-ning. In her post card to me, she makes mention of circles. The artwork on front includes circles, however at first glance, the eyes are drawn to the triangle shapes and the stripes.
Thanks, Linda! Mail from December 2018: The Lyons’ Den received a very first piece of mail from Moscow, Russia via Ilya Semenenko-Basin. Ilya used postage stamps and glue to create an interesting collage. The collage I received was done on a post card, and features a number of circles and other shapes.

Judy and Joey sent me mail art from St. Louis. Of course anytime I think of St. Louis, I want to start singing: "Meet me in St. Louis, Louis, Meet me at the fair, Don't tell me the lights are shining Any place but there, We will dance the Hoochee Koochee, I will be your tootsie wootsie, If you will meet in St. Louis, Louis, Meet me at the fair." Love that move and Judy Garland. Now, back to this Judy - |
